We all have questions -- here are some of mine. Anyone have answers?
Our national economy is measured in terms of "growth"; I hear commentators talk about how one company or other needs to grow or die. But when you think about it, nothing in nature grows forever; perpetual growth is impossible. How come a company can't just get to where they're making a reasonable profit by doing/making something worthwhile, then continue to do it? And have some fun. Improve things for the employees. Stuff like that. Growth assumes the using up of resources; there isn't an unlimited supply of resources. Why all the emphasis on GROWTH?
We want to get some of the birds around here to eat out of our hand. The way to do it is to dress up a dummy (especially shirt and hat) and set it in a chair with something in its hand that birds love (like nuts, sunflower seeds, etc.). After the birds get used to eating there, you put the same shirt and hat on yourself (or visitors!) and sit there with food in your hand. After the birds get used to eating out of your hand, theyll follow you around the yard, perch on your head, etc. So were looking for a mannequin to dress up. (Got one?)
