...is an 8-page printed newsletter for the exchange of good information -- tips, hints, ideas, questions & answers, recommendations, and fun stuff. Much of it is sent in by readers; some of it I dig up. We need some from YOU.
Who, you may ask, needs a printed newsletter in this electronic age? I spoze it won't be long before we can (conveniently) take our computers into the bed or bath or the comfy chair, but until then, and because there are many people who still don't even have a computer, I do it the old-fashioned way. (Some subscribers have asked for it via e-mail or a web site, and maybe I will do that, after I learn a bit more about all this.)
So far it's a one-person operation and I have subscribers in forty-eight states, three Canadian Provinces, Japan and the Canary Islands!
There is a lot of meaness and ugliness and in the world. The newspapers, tv and radio seem to delight in raking it up and shoving it in our faces. The Friendship Letter is for some of the other things, especially for people sharing useful, interesting and fun stuff.
I promise no advertising ('cept sometimes to plug my own stuff of course), and I don't sell my mailing list (your name and address) to anyone. Because I'm on the road from time to time (playing music -- see One Man Folk Festival), The Friendship Letter doesn't come out regularly -- it's a "sporadical".
SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION:
Send $24 for 12 issues.
Since it's a "sporadical", a 12-issue subscription might last as long as two or three years, unless I suddenly become Really Organized.
There's something worth $2 in every issue.
"Get Acquainted" mini subscription:
The next three regular issues for only $5
The first issue of each gift subscription will contain a letter explaining what The Friendship Letter is about, and to say that it's a gift subscription from you.
Send your subscriptions (and make checks out) to:
